HE ASKED WHERE THE COMPLAINT CAME FROM FOR THIS CASE AND I ADVISED HIM IT SHOWS TO BE A PHONE COMPLAINT BUT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET MORE INFORMATIOPN ON THAT UNTIL THE CASE OFFICER RETURNS NEXT WEEK. HE EXPLAINED HE HAS BEEN RENTING THIS UNIT OUT FOR 20 YEARS AND NEVER NEEDED A LICENSE AND THAT HE WILL GIVE US THOUSANDS OF ADRSSES IN WEST PALM BEACH THAT DON'T HAVE LICENSES. HE EXPLAINED THAT HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF EVICTING THE TENANT WHO IS PAST THEIR LEASE AND THEN SELLING THE UNIT IMMEDIATELY ONCE EMPTY. I TOLD HIM AS SOON AS IT IS EMPTY IT WON'T NEED A LICENSE ANYMORE AND IN THE MEANTIME THE HEARING ISN'T UNTIL FEBRUARY 2 AND HE COULD EXPLAIN THAT TO THE MAGISTRATE AND ASK FOR MORE TIME. HIS RESPONSE TO THAT WAS "MY TIME IS VALUABLE." I SAID I WAS SIMPLY TRYING TO HELP HIM AND HE ASKED FOR MY SUPERVISORS NAME. I GAVE HIM MARK JOYCE'S NAME AND HE THEN ASKED TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE AND HE WAS.
