THEY COMPLAINED THEIR BACK DOOR IS ACTUALLY THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE SO THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP THEIR TRASH CANS THERE. ADVISED THEM CODE DOES NOT SPECIFY IN THE REAR, JUST THAT IT BE KEPT OUT OF VIEW. ALSO, THEY HAVE A GARAGE. THEY STATED IF THE CANS ARE IN THE REAR IT CAN BE SEEN FROM THE NEXT STREET AND WERE ADVISED THAT WOULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR COMPLIANCE. THEY ALSO COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PARKING REQUIREMENT. PER CASE OFFICER SAINT HILAIRE THEY COMPLAINED ABOUT HAVING TOO MANY CARS FOR THE DRIVEWAY AND THEIR CARS GET HIT WHEN PARKED ON THE STREET. HOWEVER, FOR THIS CALL THEY COMPLAINED THAT THEY HAVE TO PARK ON THE SWALE BECAUSE THE STREET FLOODS TO A FOOT HIGH WHEN IT RAINS. THEY WERE ADVISED NOTHING IN CODE ALLOWS FOR THAT AS AN EXCEPTION AND TOLD THEY CAN EXPLAIN ALL THIS TO THE MAGISTRATE. IF THE MAGISTATE AGREES IT IS OK THEN THE CASE WOULD BE CLOSED. THEY WERE ALSO GIVEN THE TIME AND DATE OF THE HEARING.
