| 2019-06-04 | 13:48:42 | PHONE CALL | SPOKE WITH OWNER DOROTHY JARVIS TWICE, (561-358-4359). THE FIRST TIME I RETURNED HER CALL AND WE SPOKE FOR 10 MINUTES. I ASKED HER TO HOLD ON AS I TOOK ANOTHER CALL AND WHEN I RETURNED TO HER CALL SHE WAS NOT ON THE LINE. SHE CALLED BACK AND LEFT A MESSAGE STATING SHE FEELS THE VIOLATIONS WERE UNJUSTIFIED AND THAT SHE IS GOING TO BE CONTENTIOUS. SHE ALSO REQUESTED OFFICER LOPEZ BE REPLACED. I RETURNED HER CALL AND LEFT A MESSAGE EXPLAINING MY EXAMINATION OF THE CASE SHOWS THE VIOLATIONS ARE CORRECT AND THAT THE OFFICER WOULD NOT BE REPLACED. I ALSO ADVISED THAT HER ARGUMENTS FROM OUR CONVERSATION ARE WHAT NEED TO BE STATED TO THE MAGISTRATE. SHE CALLED AGAIN A FEW MINUTES LATER AND WE SPOKE FOR 37 MINUTES. SHE STATED THE TREE IN VIOLATION IS SHARED BY THE PROPERTY TO THE EAST AND I TOLD HER WE WOULD CHECK ON THAT AND IF CORRECT THAT ADDRESS WOULD RECEIVE A VIOLATION ALSO. SHE ALSO STATED SHE WOULD BE IN MAINE ON 8/7/19 WHEN THE HEARING IS SCHEDULED AND SHE REQUESTED IT BE MOVED TO 8/21/19. I ADVISED HER THE DATE WOULD BE CHANGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH HER REQUEST BUT WOULD ONLY BE CHANGED ONCE. SHE COMPLAINED AGAIN THAT THE OFFICER WAS BIASED AND THE VIOLATIONS UNFAIR. I INFORMED HER I REVIEWED THE VIOLATIONS AS WELL AS THE PICTURES FOR THE CASE AND THE VIOLATIONS DO EXIST. SHE ASKED IF SHE COULD COME GET COPIES OF THE PICTURES AND WAS INFORMED SHE IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO DO SO. SHE ASKED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE FOR THE VIOLATIONS AND I EXPLAINED INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLYING EACH VIOLATION WAS ON THE NOTICE. SHE ALSO COMPLAINED THERE WAS NO HURRICANE HAZARD AND I AGAIN EXPLAINED THE PICTURES SAY OTHERWISE. NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE CONVERSATION SHE STATED THE CONVERSATION SHE STATED THE DISCUSSION WAS TOO CONTENTIOUS AND I REMINDED HER EACH TIME THAT SHE LEFT ME A MESSAGE ADVISING SHE WAS GOING TO BE CONTENTIOUS. I ALSO ADVISED HER NUMEROUS TIMES THAT THE ARGUMENTS SHE?S MAKING NEED TO BE STATED TO THE MAGISTRATE AT THE HEARING AS THAT IS WHY THERE IS A HEARING. SHE ALSO BRANCHED OFF NUMEROUS TIMES TO TWO OTHER TOPICS, ONE IS REGARDING LIEN REDUCTIONS AND THE OTHER IS TWO OTHER PROPERTIES IN VIOLATION. I RE-EXPLAINED THE LIEN REDUCTION PROCESS AND SHE CLAIMED TO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY ALL HER PROPERTIES HAVE TO BE INSPECTED. SHE ASKED WHO MY SUPERVISOR WAS AND I GAVE HER MARK JOYCE?S NAME BUT WHEN I ASKED HER IF SHE WANTED HIS PHONE NUMBER SHE DECLINED. SHE THEN COMPLAINED THAT SHE NEVER RECEIVES ANY OF THE NOTICES SO I EXPLAINED WHAT THE STATE LAW MANDATES FOR PROPER SERVICE. I ALSO CHECKED ALL THREE OPEN CASES AND SAW SHE DID NOT SIGN FOR THE CERTIFIED MAIL FOR ANY OF THEM. AT THIS POINT SHE SPENT A COUPLE OF MINUTES COMPLAINING ABOUT THE POST OFFICE. I THEN ASKED IF THERE WAS ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP HER WITH AS WE?VE BEEN SPEAKING OVER A HALF HOUR AND SIMPLY STAYING ON THE PHONE UNTIL I AGREE TO CLOSE THE VIOLATIONS WASN?T GOING TO HAPPEN. SHE THEN SAID, ?I GUESS I?M JUST WRONG AND WASTING YOUR TIME,? AND THEN HUNG UP. TOTAL CONVERSATION TIME WAS JUST OVER 37 MINUTES IN ADDITION TO THE PRECEDING CALL OF 10 MINUTES, MOST OF IT SPENT ANSWERING THE SAME REPEATED QUESTIONS.
