EXPLAINED THE HISTORY TO HIM AS WELL AS FORWARDING THE PICTURES AND WILL UPDATE HIM AS REQUESTED. ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER ADVISED BY H. CARSONIN CITY CLERK'S OFFICE THAT SOMEONE HAD SENT THE OWNER TO HER OFFICE TO "FILL OUT A PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST." SHE THEN BROUGHT THE PROPERTY OWNERS TO CODE OFFICES. SPOKE AT LENGTH WITH OWNER JULIAN & RAQUEL DELEON. MR. DELEON CONTINUALLY CLAIMED HE WAS "TARGETED" BECAUSE HE IS AN IMMIGRANT AND EXHIBITED NO ACCEPTANCE OF THE FACT THAT CODE IS MANDATED TO INVESTIGATE ALL COMPLAINTS AND CITE EXISTING VIOLATIONS ACCORDINGLY, DESPITE NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO EXPLAIN THE ORIGINATION OF THE CASE. HE STATED "I MAY BE AN IMMIGRANT BUT I AM A CITIZEN AND OWN NUMEROUS PROPERTIES IN WEST PALM BEACH AND THE CITY SHOULD NOT TREAT ME THIS WAY." HE ASKED WHO MADE THE COMPLAINT AND WAS GIVEN A COPY OF THE EMAILED COMPLAINT AS WELL AS THE PROPERTY PICTURES THAT CAME WITH IT. HE ALSO INSISTED A PROPERTY ACROSS THE STREET WITH COMPANY TOW TRUCKS PARKED ON THE SWALE BE CITED AND WAS ADVISED THE ZONE OFFICER WILL RETURN TO CITE THAT. HE REFERENCED THE "SUNSHINE LAW" WHILE DEMANDING HE BE GIVEN A COPY OF ALL VIOLATIONS FROM ZONE 5 FOR THE LAST FIVE MONTHS. HE WAS ADVISED THAT WE WOULD PROVIDE THAT BUT THERE WOULD BE AN ASSOCIATED COST AND HE STATED HE WAS AWARE OF THAT AND WOULD PAY IT. HE PROVIDED HIS PHONE NUMBER, (561) 632-7849, SO HE CAN BE CONTACTED WHEN HIS PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST IS COMPLETED AND ADVISED THE TOTAL COST AT THAT TIME. J. TAGLE WAS UPDATED REGARDING THE CONVERSATION AS REQUESTED.
