I GOT IN TOUCH WITH THE OWNERS TO CLARIFY WHAT HAS HAPPENED. APPARENTLY THE OWNER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE GC WHO BASICALLY BACKED AWAY FROM THE UNDERSTANDING THEY HAD BETWEEN THEM SO HE WAS FORCED TO CANCEL THE JOB WITH HIM LAST MINUTE AND FIND AN ALTERNATE GC WHICH HE HAS DONE SUCCESSFULLY. A PERMIT APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY TODAY AND THEY TOLD US THAT DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS PROJECT IT'S NOT AN OVER THE COUNTER TYPE OF APPLICATION, INSTEAD, PLANNING WILL REVIEW IT FIRST AND WILL ISSUE THE PERMIT NEXT WEEK. THEY'RE SUPPOSE TO CALL THE GC AND LET HIM KNOW WHEN TO COME AND PICK UP THE PERMIT. IF YOU WISH, I CAN KEEP YOU UP TO DATE WITH THE STATUS OF THE PROJECT VIA EMAIL EVERY NOW AND THEN.
