HE HAD DIFFICULTY BACKING TRUCK ALL THE WAY INTO THE DRIVEWAY WHERE THE VEHCILES WERE. ONCE HOOKED UP TO THE FIRST VEHCILE, THE BMW, HE CPULD NOT PULL IT OUT WITHOUT DAMAGING THE NORTH SIDE WALL OF THE DRIVEWAY. HE CONTACTED HIS DISPATCH AND REQUESTED ASSISITANCE. SECOND TRUCK ARRIVED TO ASSIST AT 9:57 AM. WHILE HE WAS ASSITING THE FIRST DRIVER, A SMALL, WHITE CAR PULLED UP AND THE DRIVER EXITED THE CAR AND APPROACHED THE TOW TRUCK DRIVERS. OFFICER MEGATHLIN IMMEDIATELY INTERCEPTED THE INDIVIDUAL WHO TURNED OUT TO BE GLEN HAWKE, ONE OF THE FORMER SQUATTERS, WHO HAD CALLED OVER LAST WEEKEND ASKING TO ENTER AND RETRIEVE HIS BELONGINGS. HE SAID THE RED CAR (SUZUKI AT BACK OF DRIVEWAY) WAS HIS AND HE JUST WANTED TO HAVE IT TOWED TO HIS NEW RESIDENCE. CONSULTED WITH OFFICER MEGATHLIN AND WE ADVISED MR. HAWKE THAT AS LONG AS IT TOWED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE BMW IS OUT OF THE WAY HE CAN TOW IT TO HIS RESIDENCE. HE SPOPKE WITH THE 2ND TOW TRUCK DRIVER AND ARRANGED TO HAVE IT TOWED TO AN ADDRESS IN RIVIERA BEACH. TOW TRUCK DRIVERS COMPLETED TOWING VEHCILES OFF PROPERTY AT 10:30 AM.

ASKED HIM IF HIS GOING TO WORK HAD HIM GONE FOR A FULL TWO DAYS AND HE AVOIDED ANSWERING THE QUESTION. FURTHER ADVISED IF HE NEEDS TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY HE HAS TO GET AUTHORITY FROM THE LEGAL OWNER. AN IMMEDIATE CALL TO KEVIN REVEALED THERE WERE NO ISSUES ON SITE AT ALL AND A RESIDENT OF THE REAR STRUCTURE DID RETURN TO THE PROPERTY AND POLITELY EXPLAINED HE WAS SIMPLY PICKING UP SOME BELONGINGS THEY LEFT SITTING IN THE YARD YESTERDAY. INSTRUCTED HIM TO REMOVE ALL TRASH AS WELL AS UNSERVICEABLE ITEMS BUT TO LEAVE IN PLACE ANYTHING THAT SEEMED STILL USABLE AS ANY RESIDENTS COULD RETRIEVE IT BETWEEN THEN AND THE NEXT C/C. DURING WALK THROUGH NOTED THAT ONLY TWO OF THE STICKERED VEHICLES REMAINED. KEVIN ANCHORS SHOWED UP AT APPROXIMATELY 9:00 AM AND PD SGT GRAVES CONTACTED DETECTIVES AND HIGHER UPS AT PD TO DETERMINE IF BOARDING COULD TAKE PLACE. IN THE MEANTIME, A FIELD WORKER FROM THE WATER DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AND SHUT OFF THE WATER PUTTING A PLUG IN PLACE AS WELL TO BLOCK IT FROM BEING TAMPERED WITH & TURNED ON ILLEGALLY. BY 9:30 THE WORD WAS GIVEN IT COULD BE BOARDED AND ANCHORS ADVISED HE HAD TO GET HIS EQUIPMENT/SUPPLY TRAILER AND WOULD RETURN IN AN HOUR. IT BECAME APPARENT RIGHT AWAY THAT ONE PERSON AND HIS DOG WERE RESIDING IN THE SINGLE UNIT ON THE SOUTH END OF THE MAIN STRUCTURE. HE WAS TOLD BY PD OFFICERS TO VACATE AND SPENT SOME TIME MOVING HIS BELONGING TO HIS CAR BEFORE FINALLY DEPARTING SHORTLY BEFORE NOON. DURING THIS OFFICERS WERE ALSO GETTING THE REAR STRUCTURE VACATED AS 6-7 PEOPLE SEEMED TO BE RESIDING THERE. OFFICERS STOOD BY WHILE THE RESIDENTS MOVED ALL OF THEIR BELONGINGS OUTSIDE THE STRUCTURE AND SENT SOMEONE TO RENT A U-HAUL TRUCK IN THE MEANTIME. AT APPROXIMATELY NOON I WAS ABLE TO DO A WALKTHROUGH OF THE FRONT STRUCTURE INCLUDING THE SINGLE UNIT ON THE SOUTH END EXCEPT FOR A SMALL SECURED AREA AT THE NORTH END SAID TO BE A ?MACHINE ROOM? WHICH PD HAD NOT ENTERED YET EITHER. AT APPROXIMATELY 12:20 PM MADE CONTACT WITH KEVIN ANCHORS WHO HAD NOT RETURNED YET. HE ADVISED HIS TRAILER HAD A FLAT TIRE AND HE WAS GETTING IT FIXED BUT WOULDN?T BE ABLE TO GET BACK UNTIL 1:30 TO 2:00 PM. I ADVISED PD SGT BAXTER WHAT THE ANCHORS HAD STATED. THE U-HAUL TRUCK HAD ARRIVED IN THE MEANTIME AND THE RESIDENTS IN THE REAR BEGAN LOADING THAT. CONTINUED STANDING BY UNTIL 1:30 PM WHEN I HAD TO DEPART. I ADVISED PD OFFICER MEGATHLIN I NEEDED TO LEAVE, REMINDED HIM OF ANCHOR?S TIME ESTIMATE, AND SUGGESTED IF THE OFFICERS WERE DONE WITH STANDING BY TO CLEAR THE PROPERTY BEFORE ANCHORS SHOWS UP THEY COULD LEAVE AND ANCHORS WOULD HAVE TO RETURN ANOTHER TIME AS HE WAS ALREADY A FEW HOUR PAST HIS ORIGINAL ETA. CONTACTED L. BORSO, WHO HAD NEEDED TO LEAVE AROUND 11:00 AM. WHEN BACK AT CITY HALL I SPOKE WITH CHIEF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR PETTY, AS REQUESTED BY L. BORSO, TO DETERMINE IF HE WOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE POWER TURNED OFF. HE TOOK DOWN THE INFORMATION AND REQUESTED IT ALSO BE EMAILED TO HIM WHICH WAS DONE ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER. THERE ARE FOUR CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY: WHITE HONDA CIVIC FL TAG 943RWD WITH CURRENT TAG; RED TOYOTA CAMRY WITH EXPIRED TEMP TAG BWE4861 THAT BELONGS TO A SILVER 2008 CHEVY & HAS WRITING ON THE WINDOW; A BMW 525I WITH FL TAG Y93FUZ THAT EXPIRED IN 2016 & HAS A BROKEN WINDOW ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE; AND A RED SUZUKI WITH TWO TIRES MISSING AND NO TAG AND A BLOCKED VIN NUMBER COULD NOT BE RUN THROUGH STATE SYSTEM. ALL VEHICLE INFO CAME FROM OFFICER MOMIROVICH. HE ALSO ADVISED HE MAY BE ABLE TO SEND A COPY OF THE VIDEO FROM HIS BODY CAMERA WHEN WALKING THROUGH THE HOUSE ITSELF. PROPERTY STILL HAS OVERGROWTH AND THE PARKWAY GROUND COVER IS DAMAGED. TWO CITY GARBAGE CANS IN REAR, T/D IN REAR, WHAT APPEARS TO BE MOLD ON EXTERIOR IN THE REAR, AND EXTERIOR NEEDS TO BE CLEANED & PAINTED.
