| | 2010-08-24 | 11:12:43 | REINSPECTION | I MET WITH MR.MICHAEL HOLMES AT PROPERTY.THERE WAS A VAN IN THE DRIVEWAY RELATED TO THE BUSINESS.PER INSPECTION INSIDE IT DID NOT APPEAR ANYONE WAS LIVING HERE (CLOSETS WERE EMPTY,BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN,NO PERSONAL ITEMS NOTICED).I MENTIONED TO MICHAEL HOLMES THE COMPLAINTS MADE BY NEIGHBORS THAT THEY HAVE SEEN PEOPLE BEING DROPPED OFF AT HOUSE AND SPENDING THE NIGHT AND PICKED UP IN THE MORNINGS.MR.HOLMES RESPONSE IS THAT HIS WORKERS PARK AT THE NEIGHBORING CHURCH PARKING LOT WITH THEIR PERMISSION AND THE WORKERS WAIT TO BE PICKED UP AT THE HOUSE AND DROPPED OFF AFTER THEIR 18HR SHIFT AND THEY GO HOME.I ADVISE MR.HOLMES THAT THIS ACTIVITY MUST STOP AS THEY DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE A BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT/COU AND THERE MUST NOT BE ANY BUSINESS ACTIVITY AT THIS LOCATION.I TOLD HIM TO REMOVE VAN FROM PROPERTY AND STOP HAVING EMPLOYEES/PERSONS PICKED UP/DROPPED OF AT THIS LOCATION.MR.HOLMES AGREED AND SAID HE WILL HAVE VAN REMOVED TODAY AND WILL COMPLY WITH MY REQUEST UNTIL A BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT/COU IS ISSUED.I ADVISED HIM TO MOVE FORWARD DILIGENTLY WITH OUTSTANDING REQUIREMENTS MADE BY FIRE DEPT.AND CURRENT PERMITS IN ORDER TO PASS THE REQUIRED INSPECTIONS BY FIRE AND CONSTRUCTION DEPTS.AND ULTIMATELY CODE DEPT SO THAT A BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT/COU IS ISSUED FOR THE BUSINESS THEY WISH TO HAVE AT THIS LOCATION.THE ONLY ACTIVITY SHOULD BE CONTRACTORS WORKING TO COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS ON PERMITS FOR FIRE AND CONSTRUCTION DEPTS.MR.HOLMES MENTIONED THAT HE SPOKE WITH KELLEY FREEMAN/ZONING DEPT. AND WAS TOLD THAT AN EXTENION ON THE BUSINESS TAX RECEIPT/COU WOULD NOT BE GRANTED UNLESS HE COMPLIED WITH CODE.I WILL VERIFY THIS.I WILL ALSO STOP BY TO SEE IF VAN IS REMOVED LATER TODAY AND AGREED.PHOTOS.
