TENANT IN APT #5 CALLED IN A COMPLAINT ABOUT MOLD IN HER APT. APARTMENT MANAGER DAN 718-6116 CALLED TO ADVISE ME THAT THE TENANT HAS NOT PAID HER RENT AND IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCUSE TO WITHHOLD SAME AND THAT THE ROOF HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND THERE ARE NO MORE LEAKS.
ON 04/25/05 I INSPECTED APARTMENT #5 AND ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A MUSTY SMELL ( THE A/C WAS NOT ON AND ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS WERE CLOSED)I COULD NOT SEE ANY VISIBLE SIGNS OF MOLD. THERE WAS ONE SPOT WHERE THE PAINT WAS BUBBLED ON THE WALL OVER THE BATHTUB AND THIS COULD HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY A LACK OF VENTALATION IN THE BATHROOM DURING SHOWERING/BATHING. OTHER THEN THIS ONE SPOT IN THE BATHROOM THE APARTMENT WAS VIOD OF ANY VISIBLE SIGNS OF MOLD.
DAN ADVISED ME THAT HE WOULD APPLY FOR THE RENTAL LICENSE SOMETIME TODAY.
